Our Story
SnowOverflow began with a simple RedNote (小红书) post — and quickly brought together a group of strangers who shared one thing: a deep love for snow. We’re international students, coders, designers, and outdoor enthusiasts who believe snowboarding and skiing shouldn’t be a luxury or a solo mission. So we decided to build something of our own.
What started as a weekend passion is now a community project. Our goal is to make snow sports more accessible, social, and fun — by sharing resources, organizing ride-shares, and building a space where people can connect, learn, and grow together. This is our way of turning powder days into a purpose.

At SnowOverflow Foundation, we’re here for anyone who’s ever dreamed of enjoying the snow but didn’t know where to start. Whether you’re a first-timer or just looking for a community to ride with, we make winter sports easier to access and more welcoming for all. Through our app, people from around the world have planned trips, made new friends, and found the confidence to embrace the slopes—many for the very first time.
